Atrium effect pulls in the punters

30th April 2009 Print
Following the opening of brand new leisure and retail destination, The Atrium in Camberley last November, providing the town with a fantastic range of shopping and dining facilities, Crest Nicholson Regeneration Ltd can now report that over 80 per cent of the apartments which form part of the scheme, have now been sold.

The popularity of The Atrium with first time buyers, couples, downsizers and investors has contributed to the success of the scheme. The Atrium’s reputation has been buoyed by the presence of new leisure facilities including a cinema and Bowlplex all enveloped within the scheme, proving popular with local residents.

Helen Boniface, Sales and Marketing Manager at Crest Nicholson Regeneration Ltd, comments:

“It is very encouraging to reach this milestone following the opening of The Atrium’s doors last November. Apartments at the scheme continue to appeal to all types of buyers, particularly downsizers looking for the security that the scheme offers because of its central location, and a range of amenities on the doorstep. The apartments have also been popular with investors who can see the potential that an investment in Camberley offers, being the only brand new development for sale at the moment. With rental demand high in Camberley all the apartments have been successfully let to tenants.

“The selection of apartments remaining at The Atrium gives prospective home buyers a final chance to look at what is on offer, combining a high standard of living and fantastic access to the new facilities at very competitive prices for the area.”

The Atrium has brought shopping, eating and entertainment to the heart of Camberley where prospective purchasers will be able to enjoy a nine-screen Vue Cinema, 22-lane Bowlplex as well as an exciting range of cafes and restaurants including; Nando’s, Chiquito, The Real China, Bella Italia, Frankie & Benny’s, Prezzo, Starbucks, Café Nino and shops Next, SportsDirect.com and Laura Ashley. Gold’s Gym offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment and a range of fitness classes and is walking distance from the apartments.

Residents at The Atrium also benefit from a designated car parking space for those who need to take advantage of its central location to commute. There are fantastic links to the M3 out of Camberley leading to the M25 and M4. Heathrow Airport is approximately 15 miles away.

Prices for apartments at The Atrium currently start from £175,000 for a one bedroom apartment and £214,000 for a two bedroom apartment. For further enquiries or to find out more about The Atrium, visit atrium-camberley.com.
