On your marks, get set, move! First-time buyers and would-be property investors are urged to come along to the launch of a brand new development of just 20 modern apartments in Lightwater, Surrey.

Leading developer George Wimpey opens the doors to the Grayshott Place development off Guildford Road, Lightwater on Saturday 9th May at 10am.

At the launch, visitors will have the pick of the one and two-bedroom designs, with selected plots benefiting from an en-suite to the master bedroom in addition to a main bathroom, balconies or terraces to the living areas, and communal gardens.

Each maintenance-free home also boasts wonderful finishing touches, including a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood, benefits from an allocated parking space and a 10-year National House-Building Council guarantee offering purchasers complete peace of mind.

Kate Gordon, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for George Wimpey, says: “Grayshott Place is ideal for first-time buyers stepping onto the property ladder, and we’ll be offering a range of incentives at the launch to make purchasing a home more affordable for them.

“The day will also be a chance for those keen to become buy-to-let investors to find out how they can earn a higher return on their savings than they would by keeping that money in the bank. Savvy investors are putting their money into bricks and mortar, and taking advantage of today’s great prices.

“And better still, a new home in Lightwater looks set to become a brilliant investment as property prices pick up again.”

Grayshott Place will comprise ground floor, first floor and second floor apartments with prices starting at £153,995 for a one-bedroom home and £194,995 for a two-bedroom design.

The Surrey village of Lightwater is close to the M3 offering great links to the M25, central London, the New Forest, Southampton and the South Coast. For those travelling further afield, Heathrow Airport is only 18 miles away.

The well-served village is home to a range of amenities including a selection of shops catering for everyday needs.

Lightwater also has its own 100-acre country park complete with a leisure centre, while the village offers plenty of opportunity for walking and cycling and is surrounded by heather-covered heath land.

The town of Camberley is just four miles away and has a great many major high street shops, good sports facilities including a swimming pool, a theatre and a cinema. For days out, Windsor Castle, Ascot Racecourse, Virginia Water and the towns of Guildford and Woking are all close by.

Commuters will appreciate that Bagshot and Sunningdale railway stations are only three miles from Grayshott Place and provide direct links to Ascot, Guildford and Reading – and to London Waterloo in just 45 minutes.

The Sales Centre, which opens at 10am on Saturday 9th May will then open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm and can be found off Guildford Road, Lightwater..
