Eastside opens its doors to future residents at special Open House event

The Open House experience has been devised by Inspace Homes to enable future residents to see their apartments before they are finished, allowing them to take photographs, plan the layout of their home and measure up for furniture. The Chelsea Building is two months from completion and all apartments have been sold so Widacre Homes sent out personal invitations to all purchasers inviting them to come down and view their apartments at the Open House event which was held in early December.
When the purchasers arrived at the Sales and Marketing Suite, they were then dressed in safety gear and taken to their apartment where they were given time to take photographs and measurements.
After viewing their apartment, purchasers were brought back to the Sales and Marketing Suite for drinks and refreshments where they met and mingled with their future new neighbours and were able to ask staff at Widacre homes questions.
Sue Dance, Sales and Marketing Manager of Widacre Homes, commented: “Our Open House event is a day dedicated to the purchasers. This event helps them as it smoothes the whole way of purchasing an apartment off-plan. It also helps solves any problems on completion and makes it run as efficiently as possible as we understand how stressful the whole moving process can be.”
A purchaser who attended the event at the Chelsea building commented: “It was very exciting to view my apartment nearly finished so that I could figure out where to place the furniture. It was great to see how the apartment fits in with the rest of the building. As for the event afterwards, it was a wonderful way to meet people you’ll be living along side.“
First-time buyers Ben Cooper and Jill Owens added: “The Eastside development was a good combination of what we were looking for—it’s in a great location that we’re familiar with, the layout of the apartment is fantastic, and it’s within our price range. Visiting the apartment for the Open House event was great for visualization of how we wanted to set up the furniture and how we envisioned our new home to be.”
The latest phase, Lower Eastside, comprises of 68 one and two-bedroom apartments, accommodated in a 5 storey contemporary building set around a gated courtyard, with parking and landscaped grounds. The building’s façade is a clever fusion of pale and burnt orange render balanced with glazing, iron balustrades, topped with a wood panelled uppermost level; the overall effect is a dynamic, unashamed, modern landmark in the local area.
Prices at the latest phase, Lower Eastside, start from £217,450 for a one-bedroom apartment and £267,450 for a two-bedroom apartment. For further sales information, visit eastside-e3.com.
