ES Group steps into Silvertown

Quintain together with its joint-venture partner London Development Agency (LDA), advised by Savills, has let six industrial units at Silvertown Industrial Park, North Woolwich Road, Silvertown to ES Group.

ES Group has taken Units 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 totalling approximately 98,000 sq ft (9,104 sq m), at a rent of £300,000 pa, on a ten-year lease. The staging and arena solutions company is relocating its head office to the park following the compulsory purchase of their existing premises at Marshgate Sidings, near Stratford, due to the Olympics. The site will house Edwin Shirley Staging and Edwin Shirley Trucking, two of the best known names in the entertainment industry.

The park was previously occupied by Carlsberg Tetley in its entirety. Units 8 and 9, comprise 46,138 sq ft (4,286 sq m) and 165,302 sq ft (15,357 sq m) respectively, and approximately 2.5 acres (1 hectare) of open storage space remain available at the estate.
