Aitchison Raffety expands in London through acquisition
Aitchison Raffety has acquired the Holborn-based chartered surveying partnership of Barton Rix enabling an expansion of services at its London Mayfair office.Mark Short, Aitchison Raffety’s Senior London Director is delighted with the move. “We consider this to be an exciting opportunity. The acquisition will enable our London office to strengthen the quality professional business it currently provides whilst adding diversification through agency and management services.”

In the short term Barton Rix will continue to trade under its own name from its Holborn offices with a view to full integration within the next 12 months.
The acquisition demonstrates the Aitchison Raffety Group’s commitment to improving the profile and market share of the company. Originally a western home counties business, Aitchison Raffety now has 12 offices from London to Manchester and provides a full range of property services, including the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, valuation for all purposes, rating appeals, rent review and lease renewal negotiations, development and investment advice, surveying and design services, town planning, property management and corporate real estate services.
