West LB lets space at Woolgate Exchange
West LB AG, advised by Savills, has let office space at Woolgate Exchange, 25 Basinghall Street, London, EC2 to Investec.Investec has taken part of the fourth floor at the property, comprising 29,000 sq ft (2,694 sq m). The international specialist banking group has acquired the fully-fitted service office accommodation at a rent of £52.50 per sq ft (£565 per sq m) on a lease expiring in November 2008.
Investec is currently undertaking major refurbishment works at their London headquarters, 2 Gresham Street, and has taken the space as a short-term overflow solution in the interim.
The property is the London base of West LB AG, one of Germany’s leading international banks. The building contains 351,263 sq ft (32,632 sq m) of Grade A office accommodation and was constructed by MEPC in 1999 / 2000.
