Top accolades for EastSide in Bow

EastSide received high praise from the judges, who commented: “We were highly impressed with the EastSide development. It is evident that it was designed to promote a communal living approach and contribute positively to the ongoing regeneration of the area. The judges felt that combined with the stylish interiors and spacious layout of the apartments, the Platinum Award for Community was well deserved.”
On behalf of Joint Venture partner Your Lifespace, Fraser Wells, Managing Director of Inspace Homes, commented after the win: “We are delighted that EastSide has received the highest accolade in the ‘Community’ category; this Platinum award is a testament to the high quality development that has contributed to the regeneration of Bow.”
Located on fringe of the Olympics zone, EastSide encompasses 200 studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments set across five buildings. Each is named after the trendy Manhattan neighbourhoods; Washington, Greenwich, Chelsea, Soho and Lower EastSide.
The focal point of the development is a tranquil piazza style garden square, which features a sculpture. Created by artist Bob Allen, ‘Go’ is cast in Bronze Resin and depicts a sleek athletic figure. The sculpture has been designed to symbolise the vibrancy, strength and hope of the 2012 Games.
EastSide has proved incredibly popular with purchasers and is now completely sold out. However, Your Lifespace and Inspace Homes are launching NORTHPO1NT- a collection of 32 contemporary studio, one and two bedroom apartments in Essex Road, Islington. Set within a five storey building, NORTHPO1NT will appeal to young professional first-time buyers.
