Bellway Homes opens the door to affordability

Bellway Homes opens the door to affordability Housebuilder Bellway is taking a head-on approach to affordability with a home purchase scheme called Opening Doors. Bellway will offer customers the chance to buy a new home for 75% of the current market value – meaning that some homes are available at under £200,000.

Opening Doors is an innovative scheme specifically designed to reduce by a quarter the financial burden of buying a new home. The offer is available on selected homes at Bellway’s Aura development in Isleworth.

Commenting on the scheme, Ian Sloan, Sales Director at Bellway North London, said: “We have looked very carefully at how we can improve the financial situation for new home buyers. Opening Doors is unique in the way that it provides 100% ownership but reduces the cost of borrowing in the early years when most new home owners are more financially stretched.”

If you’re looking to buy in Isleworth, you’re in luck as the Opening Doors scheme is available a number of apartments at Bellway Homes’ Aura development. If you are looking to buy a one-bedroom property priced at £224,995 you will only have to find £168,746 now, meaning that the remaining 25% is deferred for 10 years. There is no interest or rent payable on the 25% funded by Bellway. Similarly a two bed apartment priced at £293,495 would only initially cost the purchaser £220,121.

Set over six floors, Aura combines stylish living space with the convenience of London on the doorstep.

London Waterloo can be reached in just 37 minutes, while Isleworth itself has plenty to offer. There is a variety of sporting facilities, open spaces and riverside walks as well as having a variety of local shops, whilst nearby Hounslow, Brentford and Richmond have even more opportunities for a spot of retail therapy.

One and a half acres of the site, set on former commercial land, will be a dedicated public open space including two play areas for children.

The development comes with a package of enhancements for the local community in addition to the children’s play areas. These include over £180,000 contributed to local education services, funding for the nearby Thornbury Playing Fields and contributions to local transport.

Isleworth's facilities include a public library, swimming pool, gym, and an abundance of green spaces including Osterley and Syon Parks. The town was home to Francis Pear’s famous soap-making empire for a century from 1862.

The sales centre and show apartment are open daily from 10am – 4.30pm. For further information visit Bellway.co.uk .
