Where town meets country

Where town meets country Connells is offering an unusual opportunity to buy a new apartment overlooking fields in Croydon. "The Lodge by Craddock Wood Homes would be ideal for someone who needs easy access to London and East Croydon but who wants to relax and enjoy a view of green open space when they come home from work at the end of the day," says Connells New Homes Manager Sarah Turpin.

The six 2 bedroom apartments, priced from £219,950, are on Shirley Road, close to bus and tram routes into the town centre. All have allocated car parking spaces with a hinged lockable bollard post and the use of communal landscaped gardens. One of the remaining ground floor apartments also has double glazed patio doors opening onto a terraced area.

Kitchens are fitted with a range of units and include an integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wash/dryer as well as stainless steel oven, extractor hood and brushed steel gas hob. Three of the remaining properties have en-suite shower rooms to the main bedroom as well as bathrooms with Minoli ceramic floor and wall tiles and chrome heated towel rails.

Designed to be low maintenance and energy saving, the apartments have highly efficient gas condensing boilers with mains pressure incorporating hot water storage. All radiators have thermostatic control valves.

"The Lodge is a great choice for someone looking for an easily maintained modern home. While there are local amenities such as a school, golf course and NHS clinic very close to hand, all the facilities of Croydon town centre are also just a short drive, bus or tram ride away," says Sarah Turpin.
