Townends agent makes TV debut on ITV's "Who Dares Sings" Matt Curran, Senior Sales Negotiator, at the Townends Earlsfield branch took to centre stage on the first week of ITV's new Saturday night show, Who Dares Sings. The programme, hosted by Ben Shephard and Denise Van Outen, challenges 100 members of the studio audience to sing their way to £50,000.

The aim is that anyone can step up to the mic and belt out a chart-topping hit, all they have to do is hold their nerve whilst a computer detects whether they hit the right notes for points.

Matt went along to the auditions after his girlfriend put him forward and, singing the hit song Mustang Sally, he made it through to the top 100 and was invited down to the studio. On the night of filming, Matt was 1 of 5 to be randomly selected from the audience and went on to be 1 of 2 to make it into the final.

Unfortunately for Matt, his choice of song in the final let him down and he lost out to his rival who went on to win £5,000.

Matt comments: "For some reason I picked an R Kelly song, I believe I can fly, which turned out to be a terrible mistake, and it all went wrong from there! It was good though to be picked from the first audition out of thousands and I was really chuffed to get into the final two."
