Barratt launches affordable new homes in Watford Glyn Hopping, managing director of Barratt North London, has officially handed over the first phase of affordable homes at its smart Willow Grange development in Watford to Andrew Main, development director for Paradigm Housing Group.

Mr Hopping says: “I am delighted to hand over three new homes to Paradigm Housing Group; the first of 51 affordable homes that we are building at Willow Grange. These, together with a further 69 affordable homes currently under construction at our developments throughout Watford, are making a significant contribution towards the number of homes needed in the area, for rent or shared ownership.”

Willow Grange is an attractive gated scheme, located in a tranquil and leafy area north of Watford town centre. It comprises a substantial office building with Victorian origins which is being converted, and a variety of newly-built homes, within beautiful mature parkland grounds of 4.8 acres.

Mr Main says: “Paradigm Housing Group is really pleased to be working on this prestigious development with Barratt Homes.”

Willow Grange couldn’t be more conveniently located with the centre of Watford around a mile away, and offering easy access to the M1 and M25. Watford Junction railway station lies approximately half a mile to the south of the development and provides direct access to London Euston with a journey time of around 20 minutes. Watford Underground station, around a mile away, is located on the Metropolitan Line. There are also direct bus links to Heathrow Airport.

The current phase of apartments is all sold. Four-bedroom houses are currently available, with prices from £399,995.
