Kebbell Homes sponsors summer fete

Watford-based housebuilder Kebbell Homes has agreed to sponsor Chiswick-based Southfield Primary School’s Sunflower Fete and Fancy Dress Procession, which will be opened by a well known TV presenter.

Kebbell, which has its Broomcroft Court development nearby on Acton Lane, has donated £300 to the event which will be taking place this Saturday (20th June) between 11am and 4pm at Turnham Green. Opening the event will be TV personality Michael Underwood, who amongst other programmes has worked for CBBC and GMTV before taking part in the most recent ITV series of ‘Dancing on Ice’.

The theme of this year’s event is music and all money raised will go towards both school workshops and equipment for pupils to enjoy in the music, visual performance, art and sport departments. It is hoped that profits may even raise in excess of £11,000 generated by last year’s fete.

It is a much anticipated date on the school calendar and a day when the whole school as well as the wider community can join together to help raise money for various school projects. Paramount to the fete’s success is that it is a lot of fun, it’s a great family day out and there is something for everyone.”
