Grand designs on show at Colebrooke Row With 65% of its allocation of just 11 prestigious new homes now sold, time is running out for homebuyers looking to live in luxury in one of London’s most sought-after new developments.

The stunning Colebrooke Collection by leading housebuilder George Wimpey – on the site of a former school in Colebrooke Row – has been attracting huge interest, particularly from off-plan buyers seeking an outstanding investment opportunity.

Three magnificent, five-storey Georgian townhouses are being built on the prime location alongside two elegant apartments, while six other townhouses are set further back from the road.

All the properties have been carefully designed by leading architects to make use of the traditional Georgian streetscape while introducing a contemporary, striking architectural style – the end result being a sensational transformation that stands out while cleverly integrating with its natural environment.

Tony Woodman, Taylor Wimpey Regional Sales and Marketing Director, explains: “Even in a buoyant property market, selling off-plan is never easy, yet the superior quality and amazing architectural design of these premier homes has helped The Colebrooke Collection to buck the national trend and generate fantastic early sales.

“Just two of the larger, Georgian homes fronting on to Colebrooke Row remain available, and continue to generate huge interest, particularly from people looking to move to a property with huge character.

“We’ve left the construction of the flagship homes towards the end of the development and we know many potential buyers are waiting before choosing to visit.

“We are in the process of organising a special ‘invite only’ preview weekend for keen customers at the beginning of September and so we would urge interested parties to contact Chesterton Humberts to arrange a personal appointment as soon as possible.”

The two sumptuous five-bedroom Georgian townhouse at Colebrooke Row are currently available from £2.2m.

The Colebrooke Collection is part of the Bridge School Project, one of the largest social regeneration schemes to take place in Islington and which has seen Islington Borough Council and Taylor Wimpey North Thames turn struggling special needs schools into centres of excellence and provide new homes on their former sites in Prebend Street, Woodbridge Street, and now Colebrooke Row.

The Colebrooke Collection is on sale with Chesterton Humberts, at 327-329 Upper Street, Islington.
