Barratt celebrates another sell-out in London

Kennington Park Square, Barratt’s latest development in south-east London, has sold out ahead of the construction programme.

The £42 million project, now approaching completion on land bounded by Black Prince Road and Kennington Road, SE11, comprised more than 200 apartments.

At prices initially starting at under £250,000, Kennington Park Square – which is within strolling distance of the Houses of Parliament – offered some apartments for under £420 per square foot. Located close to the fringes of central London’s Zone 1 – where per-foot costs of £600 or more have been common in recent years – the homebuying public clearly found the development offered outstanding value for money.

All homes have fully-fitted designer kitchens, complete with integrated appliances, plus fully-fitted bathrooms, including en suites in the two-bedroom homes. All apartments will have balconies or terraces from which to enjoy the views.

Kennington Park Square also featured a number of homes available through the Government’s HomeBuy Direct scheme, designed to help first-time buyers get onto the property ladder.
