Usain’s bolt hole

Usain’s bolt hole The BBC have said he is arguably the most famous man in the world, and being known as the fastest man on the planet means Usain Bolt attracts crowds wherever he goes.

Whilst preparing for a summer of athletics events all over Europe Usain and his team mates needed a place to stay that would keep them out of the public eye, and allow them to relax in the surroundings of a proper home environment.

His London based management company, PACE Sports Management, arranged for Usain and several members of his team to set up home at Parkwest, a luxury development by St George of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments located just 1 mile from Brunel University and 2 miles from Heathrow Airport in West Drayton, Middlesex.

Usain needed easy access to the airport to allow him to travel to competitions in Ostrava, Lausanne, Paris and Berlin and with Heathrow Airport just 2 miles north of Parkwest, the award winning development proved a popular choice amongst his team. With additional benefits such as a residents only gym, 24/7 concierge and landscaped courtyard gardens, Parkwest provides all the benefits of hotel style living in the comfort of your own home.

Usain commented, “While I was training in London recently, I stayed in one of the penthouses at Parkwest. The development was close to Heathrow airport which was convenient for flying to my competitions in Europe. Parkwest is in a great location, close to Brunel University.”

Ian Dobie, Managing Director, St George West London, commented: “It is not every day a triple Olympic & World Champion is seen walking around one of our developments. It has been an absolute pleasure having Usain stay at Parkwest and we are thrilled he has been able to relax and unwind in the comfort of his own apartment, and then go out on the track and continue to break records. The site at Parkwest previously accommodated the male Olympic athletes in the London 1948 games and it is a huge honour to have a modern day Olympic hero stay here over 60 years later. ”

Parkwest is in a superb location for commuters, students, and international travellers alike. West Drayton Station has direct links to London with trains to Paddington going every half-hour and taking approximately 25 mins. The recent approval of the £16 billion Crossrail network means that commuters from Parkwest will now be able to get direct connections to Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road and Liverpool Street in the future.

Located in London's Heathrow Quarter, this collection of modern apartments and penthouses offers something for everyone and was recently awarded Best Development for First Time Buyers. With fantastic opportunities for contemporary flexible living, purchasers can chose from a collection which includes Manhattan or Duet apartment as well as stunning split level penthouses. This is a development for the future and situated just 1 mile from Stockley Park and 2 miles from Heathrow Airport.

West Drayton Station also features in the forthcoming £16 billion Crossrail Network connecting Parkwest to Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road and beyond. You get so much living at Parkwest. New apartments designed around light and space finished to a high level of quality and style with luxury fixtures throughout from fitted kitchens to beautifully appointed bathrooms and bedrooms.
