Plant a tree to mark your move to Brackens Court

The interior of The Scarlet Househunters looking to lay down new roots in Bestwood Village are being given the opportunity to plant a tree marking their move to a high-quality home at George Wimpey’s Brackens Court development.

Superbly located next to Bestwood Country Park in Nottinghamshire, Brackens Court provides homebuyers with 650-acres of glorious natural wildlife habitat to enjoy, right on the doorstep.

And now the leading housebuilder has teamed up with the local park rangers to offer its first 20 customers reserving a new home the chance to mark the occasion by planting a tree, which will grow into a new area of woodland for future generations to enjoy.

Lynne Hartshorn, Sales and Marketing Director for George Wimpey East Midlands, says: “Brackens Court enjoys a stunning location, and we are delighted to be able to offer our new homeowners the chance to add to the area’s beauty, as well as knowing that the tree they planted will be there for hundreds of years to come.”

Customers can currently choose from a wide range of stunning properties, with two-bedroom homes starting from £127,995, and three-bedroom designs priced from £147,995.

The stylish three-bedroom ‘Scarlet’, for example, features a large combined living/dining room with French doors to the rear garden, a thoughtfully-designed combined kitchen/breakfast room, a separate entrance hallway and guest cloakroom.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two bedrooms and the family bathroom. On the top floor, the master bedroom offers extensive accommodation comprising the large bedroom, adjoining dressing area and spacious en-suite shower room.

Like all homes at the development the ‘Scarlet’ enjoys a high standard specification, including gas central heating, double glazing and a kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

Also available at the development are affordable two-bedroom homes that are priced from £89,596.

With the cosmopolitan centre of Nottingham just four miles from the development, Brackens Court is perfectly situated for schools, shopping and a wide range of leisure activities.

Closer to home, a number of shops, a public house, a Post Office and general store, a social club and a playground and recreation area are all within easy walking distance. A primary school and a community centre are also within easy reach.

Commuters will appreciate excellent road links, with the M1 north and south just a ten-minute drive away. The nearest tram station can be found at nearby Bulwell.

George Wimpey’s easymover programme provides a range of special incentives on selected properties for first time buyers, while customers with a house to sell can reserve their new home and then sit back and relax while the housebuilder finds a buyer for their current property and guarantees 100% of the market value and pays the estate agents’ fees.

Homebuyers can also take advantage of George Wimpey’s House 2 Home bespoke moving package comprising free UK removal regardless of distance or size of property, full packing and unpacking service and insurance cover.

The Sales Centre, located off Park Road, is open five days a week from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
