Panthers stalk Spinners Gate

Danny, whose wife Joanna gave birth to the couple's first baby in January, is now a near-neighbour to his ex-coach Mike Ellis, who moved into the Sherwood development with his wife in August 2006.
Mike, who successfully led his team to Challenge Cup victory last season, bought a Kensington-style, three-bedroomed townhouse at Spinners Gate when he was looking for a home that was close to the home of the Panthers, Nottingham Ice Arena.
So when Danny was looking for a home for his family, he looked at Spinners Gate, having visited the home of his then boss.
Says Danny: "Mike was telling me that Spinners Gate is in a great neighbourhood that has a real feeling of community, and it is only a mile and a half from the rink. He has been impressed with the standards of the Miller Homes finish and so, when we looked round, it was the natural choice.
"Mike and his wife have found that their townhouse has more than enough space for them so we needed a little extra space too."
Danny and Joanna now live in a Rutland-style home, which is a spacious three-bedroom mews-style house that offers a wealth of character over three floors.
A bay window in the living-room has French doors that open onto the garden. Two bedrooms, a study and a family bathroom share the first floor, while a magnificent en-suite master bedroom, with generous dressing area, makes stunning use of the entire second floor of this substantial family home.
The Kensington has a magnificent feature doorway, wrought-iron balcony balustrades and sheltered garage entrance demonstrate the quality of this superb family home. The L-shaped living-room opens into a large, bright dining area, presenting a wonderful open space with French windows to back and front.
