The ultimate dream home can often prove beyond budget but thanks to a big cash discount from David Wilson East Midlands, this was not the case for Nottinghamshire husband and wife Brett and Becky Frost.

The couple from Kirkby-in-Ashfield felt ready to take the next step up the property ladder but wanted to stay in the area so decided to take a look around the Church Fields development on Great Portland Park.

Brett says "Of the three housebuilders at the development, we were instantly attracted to David Wilson because of the design and stylish architectural detailing of its homes. You can tell that they are high quality and built to a high standard and we were impressed with the thoughtful layout of the street scenes."

Brett and Becky opted for the Hurst style home which is a four- bedroom detached property with single detached garage.

Brett continues "As soon as we saw the Hurst we fell in love. It is literally the house of our dreams. All the rooms were massive in comparison to other houses we had looked around and for me, the large kitchen/dining room at the rear of the property proved a big draw as we love having friends over and this is the perfect place for entertaining."

Becky adds "After looking around the Hurst we assumed we'd not be able to afford such a fantastic home, which was devastating because Brett and I had really fallen for it, but after speaking with Kim the sales negotiator, she offered us a deal that just was too good to be true."

David Wilson offered the couple a substantial discount as well as 5% deposit paid.
