The scheme, which is available for first time buyers and key workers, means purchasers pay just 75 per cent of the purchase price with no deposit required, taking the cost of a fabulous two bedroom apartment from £99,995 to just £74,995.

The new scheme is simple; purchasers take out a mortgage for only 75 per cent of the value of the home, while Barratt Homes provides an interest free loan to cover the other 25 per cent.

The deferred amount is then paid back as 25 per cent of the property’s open market, either within 10 years of purchase or at the time of re-sale if this is earlier than 10 years.

James continues: “Our aim was to simplify the home buying process by providing an incentive scheme and a fantastic interior package which will help to ease the financial strain and make moving into their new home as stress free as possible.”
