Barratt prices go back in time

Barratt prices go back in time Anyone buying a new home at Barratt North Midlands’ Celtic Village development in Worksop could save over £60,000 on 2007 prices. Four- bedroom houses which would have cost around £220,000 two years ago are now available from just £154,995.

The huge savings on offer show that there will probably never be a better time for First Time Buyers to get on the housing ladder. Or for Second or Third Time Buyers to move to a bigger home.

“Anyone buying a new home today will be paying low 2009 prices rather than high 2007 prices,” said James Poynor, Sales Director at Barratt North Midlands.

“It means that you could save literally tens of thousands of pounds on the price you’d have paid just two years ago.”

“For people who have been priced out of owning their home for years this is a great opportunity. And investors can take advantage of the most competitive prices in 20 years.”

“As a company, we’re still selling in the region of 230 homes a week nationally and many of our sites are now running short of stock. Clearly a lot of people agree with us that the best time to buy is when prices are very low.”

Homes currently available at Celtic Village in Worksop, Nottinghamshire include two-bedroom apartments priced from £99,995 and three- and four- bedroom houses from £154,995. For further information, see barratthomes.co.uk.
