Meyers family get closer with Miller Homes

Nottingham Panthers ice hockey star Danny Meyers was so pleased with his Miller Home that when his parents were looking to move, he suggested they look no further than the same development he lived on.

Danny and his wife Joanna moved into Spinners Gate, Sherwood, where they live with their 15-month-old son Joel in a spacious three-bedroom, three-storey mews-style Rutland home.

Danny’s mum and dad, Lester and Susan, lived in a small rural village in Berkshire but decided to move to be nearer their son and his family, particularly as their daughter, Carly, is away with a touring musical production.

So Danny suggested they look at Spinners Gate, off Hucknall Road, and now they have moved into their four-bedroomed Fyne-style property just 100 metres away.

Lester, a project manager in the construction industry, commented: “This is a great property and a superb location. I have been in a number of properties in my career and I can honestly say that the Miller Homes finish is second-to-none.

“Miller takes care of the site and the whole development. We’ve always been a close family and so it’s good to be nearer Danny and when our daughter, who is currently away on a tour, comes to stay, we have the space we need.”
