A direct way from Mansfield to London with Miller Homes

House-hunters are being invited to visit the development, situated off Nottingham Road, on 27 and 28 June, between 11am and 4pm, so that they can find out more about the how the Government-backed Homebuy Direct scheme could offer them an easier way to buy a new home.
As special incentive, all visitors attending Sandhurst Gardens throughout the weekend will be entered into a prize draw to win a London theatre break, complete with hotel accommodation and a choice of top West End shows.
Joy Goodman, sales director at Miller Homes East Midlands, commented: “Sandhurst Gardens is an excellent location and a bit of a hidden gem. With this weekend, we are hoping to prove to visitors how very easy it could be to achieve a luxury lifestyle not only at home, but thanks to our prize - on holiday too!
“Property is still one of the best long term investments a person can make, and with schemes such as Homebuy Direct boosting confidence amongst prospective buyers, we believe that many more people will realise that there has never been a better time to buy a new home.”
The Homebuy Direct scheme has been carefully structured to enable people to take an equity loan of up to 30 per cent of the purchase price, which will be co-funded by Miller Homes and the Government.
This means that they will only need to find a mortgage to cover 70 per cent of the purchase price but can still own 100 per cent of the property. The loan, on which there is no interest to pay for the first five years, is only repayable after 25 years or when the customer sells their home, whichever comes first.
A selection of at properties at Sandhurst Gardens are currently available through the Homebuy Direct (HBD) scheme.
These include the spacious, three-bedroomed Sheridan townhouse, priced from £109,165 on HBD, which benefits from a large kitchen/diner area which opens out onto the garden for perfect alfresco dining, and the adaptable three-bedroomed Alcott, available from £118,265 on HBD, which houses an impressive master bedroom complete with built-in wardrobe and en-suite shower.
The development itself is situated in a prime town centre location on the historic site of a celebrated foundry dating back over 250 years. The much sought-after location not only has the convenience of local amenities on its doorstep, but it’s also close to commuter routes – making Nottingham, Derby and further afield easy to get to.
