Harry Potter makes an appearance in Ranskill Celebrate Harry Potter’s welcome return to our cinema screens in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with a visit to the new themed showhome at The Alders – Persimmon’s development in Ranskill.

In homage to wondrous wizard Harry, together with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, his friends from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry, Persimmon has incorporated a magical theme in the top floor study of the Bramham showhome.

What’s more, the first five visitors to view the showhome at The Alders during the weekend of Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July, will win a pair of cinema tickets allowing them to enjoy JK Rowling’s latest blockbuster on the big screen*!

Karen Harrowell, sales director for Persimmon Homes Yorkshire, is sure the Bramham will impress Harry Potter fans. She explains: “As we have proved at The Alders, showhomes don’t necessarily have to feature just wall-to-wall magnolia and I’m sure this property will impress visitors.”

Persimmon is offering the newly launched HomeBuy Direct scheme at The Alders - an incentive which aims to put households with incomes below £60,000 in a position where they can afford to purchase on the open market and who are specifically buying a new build property. Househunters are only required to raise funding for 70 per cent of the purchase price including a mortgage and the remaining 30 per cent is made up by an equity loan which is co-funded by the Government and Persimmon Homes.

Even if house hunters haven’t got a deposit for a new home, but desperately want to move, there’s no need to worry as the HomeBuy Direct scheme is aimed at those who haven’t built up a substantial bank of savings to help them onto the property ladder – the only thing they have to pay is a visit to The Alders.

Nestling between Bawtry and Retford, it’s a perfect location for commuters and shoppers alike, ideally situated for the A614, A1, and A631 which enables easy access to Doncaster to the north, Worksop and Nottingham to the south and Gainsborough to the east. In addition, the M18 and M1 are in proximity. Local amenities are plentiful with a good range of facilities found in Bawtry however a wider selection can be found in Retford. Homes at The Alders are currently priced from £195,999, or from just £137,199 with HomeBuy Direct.

For further information on the range of homes available at The Alders, log on to Persimmonhomes.com.

* Persimmon Homes will reimburse the cost of the cinema tickets on production at The Alders marketing suite.
