Go green with Barratt

Go green with Barratt Barratt North Midlands is encouraging Worksop shoppers to go green by ditching plastic shopping bags and using their environmentally friendly cotton carrier instead.

The leading housebuilder has produced 1000 Barratt branded cotton carrier bags which are available to pick up for free from its Celtic Village development on Raymoth Lane.

James Poynor, Sales Director at Barratt North Midlands comments “As a housebuilder we’re incredibly eco-conscious and strive to make our new homes as environmentally friendly as possible.

“But to go one step further we decided to produce these carrier bags which are available to anyone who visits our Celtic Village development in Gateford.

“Celtic Village is located next to a small retail park so the bags will hopefully come in handy for shoppers. Not only are the carriers re-usable but increasing numbers of shops are charging for bags so by picking up one of our Barratt carriers you can save money as well as being kind to the environment.”

Situated on Raymoth Lane, Celtic Village offers a superb collection of two- bedroom apartments and three- and four- bedroom family homes from the extensive Barratt portfolio. The properties available provide housing solutions for a wide range of homehunters, from first time buyers to expanding families and downsizers alike.

The development benefits from a range of local shops including a Netto, Tesco Express and a number of eateries as well as a leisure centre and both primary and secondary schools. The charming market town of Worksop is also within easy reaching distance.

Junctions 30 and 31 of the M1 are just 10 minutes away meaning the cities of Nottingham and Sheffield are easily accessible for commuters looking for quality homes within a pleasant yet affordable area.

Prices at the development start from £123,995 for a three-bedroom house.

The cotton carrier bags are free to pick up from the sales office which is open 11am-6pm, Thursday to Monday.
