Determined sales adviser raises money for cancer research

Determined sales adviser raises money for cancer research Sutton-in-Ashfield new homes sales adviser, Jo Isherwood, has triumphed over the difficult down pours to raise over £250 for Cancer Research.

Jo’s determination to complete the Race for Life 5K run (held in Rotherham) could not be dampened by the typical English summer rainy weather. Along with her 11 year old daughter Amelia, the pair embarked on a rigorous training regime to ensure they completed the race.

Sales adviser for award-winning housebuilder Miller Homes at the Ashtree Park development in Ashfield, Jo said: “We have two family members that have suffered with Cancer, so this is our way of indirectly helping the thousands of other people that are affected by the awful disease.”

Jo sought the help of work colleagues at Miller developments throughout Yorkshire along with other friends and family to raise the money. “I am grateful to all those who sponsored me, and really pleased we were able to raise a good amount. In fact we are really looking forward to doing it again next year!”

When not training, Jo can be found at Ashtree Park on Kirkby Folly Road where she has a variety of properties for sale. The homes available range from two bedroom apartments priced at just £80,000, to five bedroom detached family homes from £179,995.

If you would like to start afresh in a brand new affordable home, then why not visit Jo in the sales centre, open late night on Thursday 12.30 – 7.30pm and 10.30am and 5.30pm Friday to Monday? Alternatively, visit millerhomes.co.uk.
