Gleeson rounds off New Homes Week in style

Gleeson rounds off New Homes Week in style To mark the end of a week-long national campaign highlighting the advantages of new homes, Gleeson is hosting a family fun day at its popular development in Retford.

Families in the market for a new home will be welcomed to The Grange on the last day of New Homes Week (Sunday, September 20th), for drinks, nibbles, entertainment – and a free car wash!

A team of volunteers from 7th Retford St Swithin’s Scouts will be cleaning visitors’ cars free of charge in return for a donation to scout funds from housebuilder Gleeson.

Julie Rayner, sales director for Gleeson Homes, said: “The Grange is a popular development with families so, to celebrate the conclusion of a successful New Homes Week, we wanted to host a fun day that the whole family could enjoy. While mum and dad find out more about our high quality homes and the great incentives to purchase we have available, the kids can have fun watching our children’s entertainer. We would also like to thank our local scout troop for their enthusiastic offer to wash cars on the day.

“As well as providing visitors with a fun-filled day, we hope the event will further highlight to homebuyers some of the key messages that have been publicised by the New Home Marketing Board during New Homes Week. Our brand new homes are secure, energy efficient and easy to maintain. They also come complete with high specification fixtures and fittings so there is no need for any expensive renovation work.

“And, as new build developers, we are also able to offer home buyers extra help and incentives to make a move more achievable, something the second hand market cannot compete with.”

Gleeson currently has generously spaced three, four and five-bedroom homes in a mix of semi-detached and detached styles, currently priced from £157,995 to £265,995. Part-exchange will be considered on selected homes to help those with an existing property to sell.

The Grange is situated in a quiet, established residential area just a few minutes' stroll from the charming centre of historic Retford. Just off the A638, linking to the A1, it’s a great location for travel by car and particularly well situated for commuting to Nottingham, Sheffield and Lincoln; while Retford railway station is approximately one mile away offering a high-speed rail link on the London to Edinburgh line.

There are two high schools and six primary schools within one mile of the development.

To find out more, join Gleeson on Sunday, September 20th between 12 noon and 4pm, or visit gleeson-homes.co.uk for more details.
