North West property giant becomes Crosby Lend Lease
The name change is significant to Crosby’s increasing expertise in the mixed-use development sector, an area which will only be strengthened now that it is part of the Lend Lease group.
Lend Lease’s expertise encompasses the commercial, retail, residential, communications, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors and it operates in over 40 countries worldwide with a particularly strong presence in the UK, US and Australia.

Over the last ten years, Crosby has been at the forefront of inner city regeneration. Its known ability to predict the next up and coming district of the city has attracted a flood of competitor development around any site it has acquired. Over time, this has resulted in the transformation of previously overlooked areas of the city into its most aspirational addresses. Market Buildings and The Design House in the Northern Quarter are both good examples of this.
N.1 Deansgate set new standards for city living in both its architectural style and its price tag; it housed the city’s first million pound pad. Most recently Crosby has been focusing its efforts on Greenquarter, a mixed use site which has transformed nearly eight acres of formerly derelict industrial wasteland in a vibrant and thriving residential oasis.
Crosby Lend Lease will soon be unveiling plans for two significant new developments in 2007, in addition to the final stages of Greenquarter.
