A land deal with a difference

Connells Land Director David Law concluded a land deal with a difference when he arranged the sale of eight prime residential sites, along with a 23 strong development management team, to the Banner Homes Group on behalf of Dodd Holdings.

“We had been working with Steve Dodd for some time when I approached him with the information that we had clients looking for companies to acquire,” said David Law. “After some deliberation, he agreed to meet with our clients and the rest, as they say, is history.”

The multi million pound deal gives Banner an oven ready landbank of prime residential sites for around 350 units, the majority which already have detailed planning permission, and an experienced management team, enabling them to expand their operation in the Midlands. Dodd Holdings will retain its current live sites and will focus its energy into expanding its property investment and land acquisition companies.
