Up, up and away The sky's the limit for lucky home buyers in the east midlands, as Redrow heads for the clouds – with free hot air balloon rides.

To celebrate the fact that Redrow’s own hot air balloon will be appearing at this year’s Newark County Show on May 12/13, buyers who reserve a home at one of three developments in Redrow’s east midlands region in May will be able to enjoy a complimentary hot air balloon ride for two people when they legally complete.

Catherine Cloke, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (East Midlands) says: “This great offer is available at Lindum Point, Newton’s Walk and Chestnut Grange. We’ve got so many great homes available at these developments and with this added incentive, I think home buyers will find it difficult to turn us down. Hot air balloon rides are something that people dream of – and here we are making it a reality for them.

“Redrow is a relatively new name in the east midlands, but we have developments popping up all over the region, so that will all change soon. We have quite a vast portfolio already with a wide variety of homes which will appeal to a diverse group of buyers, from large families, to retiring couples, to commuters. We will continue to grow and maintain our reputation for building good quality homes.”

Redrow already has developments in the Lincolnshire village of Bassingham, as well as Bingham, near Nottingham, Grantham, Lincoln and Ailsworth, near Peterborough.

Flying high on the popularity scale is Chestnut Grange in Bassingham, a development of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, plus a single one-bedroom apartment.

Chestnut Grange is situated on the southern tip of Bassingham and promises to be an exclusive haven for property hunters seeking a new home that boasts a beautiful, idyllic backdrop.

Each house has its own feel of individuality thanks to customised elevations and the development will also border open countryside, with many mature trees being retained, giving it an inviting, picturesque look and feel.

Moving on, Lindum Point in Lincoln also spoils buyers with its offer of 98 one and two-bedroom apartments. The development is part of the larger Bunkers Hill venture, which will also be home to 124 of Redrow’s award winning, affordable Debut homes, aimed at first time buyers. These one and two-bedroom properties will launch this summer.

Located off Carlton Square, Lincoln, Bunkers Hill includes the Carlton Centre retail park and other residential schemes. As well as the shopping centre, the area is well served by other amenities, including a newly opened restaurant, children’s crèche and dental surgery, and is just over a mile from the centre of Lincoln.

Also on release are homes at Newton’s Walk, in Grantham, from two-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom detached family homes, just a 10 minute walk from the town centre and a short distance from the beautiful countryside of the Vale of Belvoir.

Meanwhile, the newest development - Mill Hill - will showcase 205 stylish apartments and houses within commuting distance of Nottingham on Mill Hill Road, due to launch in May.

Seen as a flagship scheme for Redrow, the house builder believes the range of properties planned will attract aspirational professionals, young couples and larger families, looking to benefit from the high quality of local amenities on offer – including excellent schools.

Redrow has also recently added to its thriving portfolio with the launch of The Sycamores in Ailsworth, near Peterborough. The development features 48 properties in a range of sizes from three to five bedrooms, in a mixture of terraced, semi detached and detached styles. Prices will range from around £249,950 to £450,000.
