Sarah completes her leg of Le Tour de Miller

Miller Homes East Midlands land secretary, Sarah Reading, has completed a gruelling 58 mile charity bike ride from Derby to Solihull as part of Miller Homes’ Le Tour De Miller.

Derby girl Sarah joined the ride for the East to West Midlands leg of the tour, riding alongside Craig Ferrans and Simon Hatch, who both cycled the 750 miles from Miller Homes’ Glasgow office to its Basingstoke office. The two riders cycled via each Miller Homes regional office along the way, raising over £20,000 in the process for Habitat for Humanity and The Princes Trust.

A keen fitness enthusiast who attends the gym and spinning classes on a regular basis Sarah says of this, her first real endurance challenge:

“I was really pleased to be able to take part in this and finish, as it was a great personal challenge that has helped to raise money for two excellent causes.

“It was such hard work and I have nothing but admiration for Craig and Simon, who rode the whole 750 miles around the nine regional offices – 58 miles was difficult enough.”

And that was not all for supersonic Sarah, who also took part in a 10k local charity run around Pride Park to cap off her week!
