Redrows hot air balloon Visitors at the Lord Mayor’s Show in Cannon Hill Park this Sunday (27th May) could be going to new heights, as Redrow’s hot air balloon flies into town.

The award-winning house builder will be offering tethered flights at the event in Edgbaston this weekend, allowing people to get a bird’s eye view of all the action at the show – as well as Redrow’s stylish Hemisphere apartment venture just across the road.

The annual event always draws big crowds, and this year those who go along will be spoilt for choice for things to do - with music, a funfair, a fashion show, inflatable slides, bouncy castles and children’s entertainment, as well as a mobile bowling alley, quad bike rides, a football training area and an inflatable assault course.

Linda Androlia, sales director for Redrow Homes (West Midlands), says: “The Lord Mayor’s show is one of the highlights of the year and is sure to be a great family fun day out. And for anyone who has always fancied taking a balloon flight, this is the perfect opportunity to try it out for free.”

Redrow is offering flights between 12 noon and 6pm, on a first come first served basis, so people interested should get in early to make sure they don’t miss out.

Those who make it into the skies will also be able to get an amazing view of Hemisphere, giving a taster of what life in this stylish location has to offer.

Linda says: “Hemisphere offers unrivalled access to both sides of life – Birmingham city centre is less than half a mile away, while beautiful Cannon Hill Park is right on the doorstep. Going up in the balloon offers an unmissable chance to see the development from a new, exciting angle.”

Since opening its doors a year ago, around a third of the 344 apartments available at Hemisphere - adjacent to Warwickshire County Cricket Club - have been snapped up by style savvy buyers. The recently launched second phase includes a range of one and two-bedroom apartments, with prices starting from £149,950. A luxurious set of penthouses will also be available.

The Redrow team will be on hand at the event with information about the desirable properties available at Hemisphere, but those who fancy a city centre pad haven’t been forgotten – as the company has another venture, Jupiter, on Canal Square in the heart of Birmingham.

Within easy walking distance of the Bullring and The Mailbox, Jupiter offers its residents unrivalled access to all the city has to offer. Now into the first two phases, a wide range of apartments are available, with prices currently ranging from £110,950 to £210,950 for a one-bedroom and two-bedroom’s respectively.

Both Hemisphere and Jupiter offer much sought-after parking spaces included in the price with most apartments.

“Whatever you’re looking for in an apartment, whether it be the buzz of the city right outside your front door or gorgeous natural surroundings, we’ve got it covered. Those who join us for a flight will be able to take in the fantastic views of the park, as well as finding out more about that dream new pad,” adds Linda.

Join Redrow for a free tethered flight in their hot air balloon between 12 noon and 6pm on Sunday 27th May at the Lord Mayor’s Show, at Cannon Hill Park, Edgbaston. Places are on a strictly first come first served basis.
