Severn Trent comment on HIPS

Mark Jarvis, General Manager, Severn Trent Searches, comments: "Last week’s announcement revealing Yvette Cooper will remain Minister for Housing and Planning and furthermore continue her role with a much higher profile, surely signifies the anticipated backing from Gordon Brown on HIPs. There was much speculation before Brown took his seat into whether or not Yvette Cooper would remain in Cabinet in any capacity and this is a welcome and reassuring announcement in view of the continued speculation within the property market. We can breathe again and look positively to the future which will almost certainly contain HIPs.
