New MD for Miller Homes Northwest

Miller Homes has appointed Sue Warwick as its new Managing Director in the northwest, to build on its recent success in becoming one of the top ten housebuilders in the UK. Sue, formerly Sales and Marketing Director of Miller Homes took on her new role from 1st July 2007.

She is no stranger to the Edinburgh based business and has seen the importance of the region’s growth to become the largest with in Miller Homes, which had over 4000 completions in 2006. Some 808 of which were from the northwest. This backed-up by the strength of the Miller Group which has a £1.2bn turnover, provides an excellent base from which the company is forecast to grow bigger and faster in the future.

Sue commented: “I am delighted to be appointed at this exciting time for Miller Homes. We have a sustained record of providing excellent financial performance and have embarked upon a major investment programme to build on our success. Our expanding land bank and coming soon developments will help grow the business in the northwest and deliver more quality homes to satisfy demand. A whole combination of factors play into this including prime locations, quality designs combined with a great build quality all produced by a professional team and backed by our market leading customer care service.

Sue is joined by Barry Ludlow who has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director. Barry was formerly Financial Director in the northwest region and has over 25 years experience in the housebuilding industry, previously working with McLean Homes. Barry joined Miller Homes in 2006.
