Kings Heath Families whose numbers have expanded but who think their home-buying capacity hasn’t, or older couples wanting to swap their existing property for a more manageable contemporary apartment, could be in for a pleasant surprise at three of Barratt Homes’ developments in the south west.

On July 21 and 22 Barratt Homes is hosting a part exchange weekend at its developments Lunar Rise, King’s Heath and Rio, where sales negotiators and part exchange experts will be on hand to explain how the company’s special home exchange options can make that hoped-for move a reality.

“The south west is one of the most sought-after areas in the UK and often people talk about moving here but don’t think they could afford a dream property,’’ said sales director Caroline Hill.

“They are amazed when they discover the tailor-made packages we have available, helping them buy and sell in one easy move and eliminating the delays of selling on the open market.”

With the Barratt Seven Day Part Exchange Service, subject to criteria, currently available at popular Exeter development King’s Heath, Plymouth’s waterfront site Lunar Rise and Bridgwater’s successful Rio, buyers can select a new Barratt home from a variety of stylish two bedroom apartments, three and four bedroom properties.

The housebuilder arranges for three independent professional valuations of a buyer’s existing property and makes a fair offer based on that within seven days - again cutting out estate agents fees, chain and last minute haggling over the price.

“In a nutshell, Barratt becomes your cash buyer, freeing you up to purchase your new Barratt home and move in within weeks.

“We have a variety of properties to upgrade to, for example expanding families requiring more space could consider the four bedroom townhouses at King’s Heath and Rio. Or Plymouth’s Lunar Rise offers empty nesters looking for a cream of the crop apartment the chance to trade their existing house for vibrant city centre living.”

King’s Heath is located off Rydon Lane, on the edge of the historic city of Exeter. The development comprises nearly 400 homes and the remaining 24 properties include two bedroom apartments, three bedroom houses and four bed townhouses.

The homebuilder’s development in Rio will comprise 86 properties, including one and two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom houses. It is a five minute walk from Bridgwater centre with excellent communication links, a train station is close by, and easy connections with the M5 motorway.

Lunar Rise is just 50 metres from Plymouth’s vibrant Sutton Harbour Marina, with many of the apartments, particularly those on the executive levels, some boasting spectacular views across sea and city. The state of the art ten storey building will comprise 109 spacious one and two bedroom apartments, with just ten apartments on the executive levels, offering excellent opportunities to part exchange.

Barratt Homes is holding a part exchange open weekend on 21/22 July at the sales office of each development to provide those looking to upgrade from an existing home to a dream new property with all the information they need on the excellent part exchange options available on selected King’s Heath, Rio and Lunar Rise plots.
