Top Barratt awards – it’s a family tradition

Barratt’s Apprentice of the Year Jamie Waddington and his mum, Debbie Minns are starting a family tradition for carrying off top awards. Jamie, has just been named as the top apprentice and mum Debbie has won the Excellence in Customer Service Award for April to June.

Jamie is based at Barratt’s Oaktree Farm development in Lincoln and Debbie is Barratt East Midlands Customer Liaison Officer, covering Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and parts of Derbyshire.

Barratt’s East Midlands Managing Director, Kevin Broughton said:

“Congratulations to Jamie and Debbie for winning these two top awards. Barratt East Midlands is something of a family firm – with a great family atmosphere and a number of family links among the staff. Jamie is a very talented young apprentice and a testament to Barratt’s commitment to training newcomers to the highest standard.

“Debbie has done outstanding work in her customer liaison role and occupies a key position in helping to sort out any minor problems which may arise during the purchase of a new Barratt home.”

Debbie said: “We are very proud of Jamie – it is a great accolade to win the top apprentice award and he can look forward to a great career with a great company.

“We are delighted to have both these top awards in the family.”
