FTB Team to help buyers take first steps onto housing ladder

A bright green Freelander is set for a starring role in the mission to help first time buyers in the Wiltshire, Gloucester and Bristol areas get that vital first step on the housing ladder this summer. The Barratt Homes FTB Team will be out and about in the Freelander this month (August) to spread the word about how it can help with initiatives specifically aimed at the first time buyer market.

“No one does more to help first time buyers than Barratt Homes and by using the FTB Team Freelander we can spread the word as far as possible,’’ said sales director Louise Ware.

“We can help with everything from a deposit for a first home through to paying stamp duty and even have Parent Power – an initiative whereby parents and Barratt both contribute towards the cost.’’

As part of a two week campaign in August, the developer’s FTB Team will be touring the area armed with leaflets and information about developments which have homes perfect for the first time buyer market.

“We want to ensure that potential buyers know what is available locally and how they can own their own home,’’ said Louise.
