Quest’s Q-HIP powers record-breaking HIPs

17th August 2007 Print
Quest Associates, supplier of IT solutions to the UK property sector, is pleased to announce that its Q-HIP online HIP technology has been the driving force behind England’s first deliverable Home Information Packs to the general public. The companies to receive recognition from the Association of HIP Providers (AHIPP) for delivering the UK’s first, second and third live packs are all using Quest’s technology to manage their HIP requirements.

As recently reported by AHIPP, Richards Gray, Habitus and 7Side delivered the first live packs to Estate Agents across England and all benefited from the Quest Q-HIP system, which powered the prompt delivery.

Confirms Tom Parker, managing director of Quest Associates: “The speed at which our Q-HIP technology has delivered the completed packs to our HIP Provider customers is extremely impressive. Not only does the system collate the relevant search material, but it automatically sends an EPC instruction to the most local, available assessor so they can complete the required energy assessment. This is then returned to the Q-HIP system so the lodged report is incorporated into the finished pack.”

Continues Tom: “We are extremely proud that we have been the driving force behind the efficient delivery of the first live packs. If HIP delivery was made into a sport, we would, in effect, have scooped the gold, silver and bronze awards!”

Q-HIP is in use by over 1,800 HIP Providers and estate agents across the UK, which directly connects to over 1,500 qualified and accredited Domestic Energy Assessors via the majority of DEA accreditation schemes.

Concludes Tom: “We are in an enviable position as our Q-HIP system has been fully functioning for many months now, having been tried and tested by several HIP Providers during the dry run. This has meant that come 1 August, our technology was fully prepared to deliver electronic and professionally printed packs to our customers, without delay.”
