Housetwo looking for franchisees
As its first office opens in Newcastle, buy-to-let specialist Housetwo is looking for more franchisees across the UK to help inexperienced investors profit from property.Since its launch in 2002, Housetwo has developed from a small Bradford-based consultancy into a national buy-to-let expert, having purchased £100 million plus of property for its clients. The company now plans to open over 100 franchised offices in the next two years, offering its ‘find and let’ service to a wider audience.
Unlike other companies that only provide advice about property investment, Housetwo shoulders all the hassle and hard work of the buy-to-let process, from finding and financing the property to a full letting and management service, for a similar fee.
Les Peebles, founder and CEO, explains his plans for Housetwo: “Having spent the last four years taking the time, stress and much of the risk out of property investment for hundreds of clients, we want to offer this service to even more people. The Newcastle office, headed by Francis Clark, is the first step towards a UK change in the way property investment agents do business.
“Property is far more than just bricks and mortar – we are dealing in people’s futures – but many buy-to-let agencies push their clients into new-build or off-plan developments which are not only bad investments but also bad homes.
“In a business where property developers and landlords have a bad name, Housetwo breaks the mould. Over 80% of our clients come from referrals because we have earned a reputation for dealing honestly with our clients and always going the extra mile to make sure that their investment is as safe as houses!”
