Stephen lands director role at Miller Homes

Stephen Ward has joined the board of Miller Homes East Midlands as land director. His main duties will see him identifying and acquiring residential land in line with company budgets and requirements, maintaining and expanding contacts, developing the company’s land team and purchasing sites on favourable terms.

Stephen, a graduate of Nottingham Trent University with a degree in residential development, joins the renowned house builder from Kings Oak South Midlands, where he worked as land director. Prior to that role, he helped to launch Barratt Mercia from a standing start.

Stephen commented: “Miller Homes is a company that has a fantastic reputation throughout the house building industry and beyond. Using my experience, including the fact that I was previously the head of a land department that consistently purchased land in line with company requirements year on year, I am looking forward to helping the company to flourish further.”

Stephen’s role will see him take over land director responsibilities from Andy Noton, Miller Homes East Midlands’ deputy managing director.
