AHIPP reaches membership milestone

15th November 2007 Print
The Association of Home Information Pack Providers (AHIPP) has reached 100 members, demonstrating that this new industry remains committed to the implementation of Home Information Packs (HIPs) despite Government delays.

STL Group Plc, a leading provider of personal searches in England and Wales as well as Home Condition Reports and Energy Performance Certificates, is the latest member to join AHIPP and believes that now is the right time to be pushing forward the campaign to promote the benefits of HIPs to consumers.

Alan Thorogood, Chief Executive of STL Group plc commented: “We’re delighted to become the 100th member of AHIPP. We’ve always been passionate about delivering high quality property searches that meet the stringent Search Code and HIP Code standards, ensuring full compliance with the PCCB (Property Codes Compliance Board).

Paul Broadhead, Deputy Director General, AHIPP commented: “We are thrilled to represent 100 members from all parts of the home buying and selling process. Despite Government delays in the rollout of one and two bedroom properties, pack providers continue to deliver packs in an efficient and professional manner to consumers.

“More than ever, we are keen, along with our members to push forward with the full rollout of HIPs and deliver real benefits to First Time Buyers and, again, I would urge the Government to implement this as soon as possible.”
