Zoomf.com launches ‘Visual Search’ for home hunters

29th December 2007 Print
Property search engine, Zoomf.com, has launched a brand new and revolutionary approach to finding property – Visual Search.

Visual Search allows you to define the area you want to search for your home by drawing a line around it directly onto a map. If you wish to live near a school, a park, or even the sea, property searches by postcode or area name can prove to be clunky and imprecise. Visual Search lets you target your ideal location with pinpoint accuracy.

Mike Carter, a Director at Zoomf.com, comments: “Research shows that people frequently leave traditional property sites and go straight to mapping sites. This indicates that the existing property sites don’t give them the mapping information that they want. In addition to providing superior mapping facilities, Zoomf has now gone one step beyond in providing Visual Search.”

“Visual Search saves masses of time, by allowing people to be extremely precise in their searches. What’s more, the technology will filter out properties that don’t meet specific criteria, so if a two bedroom flat under £250,000 is the brief, Zoomf won’t waste time in showing properties that don’t match it.”

“This is the first version of Visual Search, and we will be constantly looking to improve it and add further innovative features. Feedback to Zoomf is very welcome!”
