NLA: Private rented sector review terms of reference

David Salusbury, Chairman of the National Landlords Association (NLA), comments: “The NLA welcomes today’s publication of the terms of reference of the review into private rented sector housing. We look forward to the opportunity of providing crucial evidence of the importance of the sector to the overall housing mix and the health of the property market.

“The vast majority of landlords are professional business people who take their responsibilities to tenants very seriously. This review will consider the impact of the growth of the buy-to-let sector as well as explore how the regulatory changes have sought to raise standards in the sector.

“On balance, this is a chance for the whole sector to take stock and the NLA will be playing a major part in the consultation in due course.”
