New sales director for Persimmon Homes Severn Valley
Persimmon Homes has announced the appointment of Nina Hester as sales and marketing director for its Severn Valley region. Nina (38) joins the company from Barratt Developments' David Wilson Homes Eastern region where she also held the role of sales director.Having previously worked for both national and regional house builders, Nina is delighted to have joined the UK's most successful housebuilder, and in addition to her role as member of the regional board, will lead the Severn Valley sales team in a region spanning the Forest-of-Dean, South Gloucestershire, Bristol and North Somerset.
"I've always considered Persimmon Homes to be a forward-thinking builder with vision and strong growth tactics, so the opportunity to join its youngest region was one I simply couldn't resist," commented Nina. "Severn Valley has already established a great product offering in varied and attractive locations and I'm thoroughly looking forward to driving sales forward and helping grow and strengthen the company over the coming months."
Managing director Carl Haley added: "Nina is an extremely competent and experienced sales director and we are delighted that she has joined the Severn Valley region. Her sales and marketing skills will no doubt prove invaluable as we face market challenges this year and I'm confident that with Nina leading the team we will successfully expand our reach into previously untapped locations."
With almost 20 years experience in the property industry, Nina Hester began her career working briefly as a sales manager for procurement company Belvedawn Ltd before discovering her niche in property with Laing Homes (Home Counties). Subsequent progressions through the ranks followed with Berkeley Homes, Wilcon Homes and George Wimpey before Nina assumed the role of sales director with David Wilson Homes Eastern in February 2007.
