Charles Church staff go peak to peak Cycling from Swansea to Cardiff was all in a day's work for a team of staff from Charles Church Wales, who recently took part in a charity bike ride to raise money for Dreams Come True.

Seven members of staff put their cycling helmets and charity vests on to take on the challenge of the Twin Peaks cycle ride - starting at Charles Church's Aurora development in Swansea and finishing at the Century Wharf development in Cardiff Bay.

The 50 mile cycle ride took just over six hours and an impressive £3,500 was raised for Dreams Come True - Charles Church's chosen charity. Dreams Come True is a charity that makes the dreams of terminally or seriously ill children become a reality.

Andrew Crompton, Managing Director for Charles Church Wales, came up with the idea and also took part in the challenge. "I was thinking of ways to raise money for charity and my thought process drifted from the Three Peak challenge to a Twin Peak challenge as we have two high rise developments which have peaks to them - Aurora and Century Wharf," he said.

"We started the challenge at 9.30am and finished at around 4pm, and our route took us along A48. We actually saw a lot more of the Wales countryside than we normally do when driving!

"We all stayed together as a team and it was a very enjoyable experience. Knowing that we were raising money for a good cause kept us going when we felt like giving up, it was a great team bonding experience."

Charles Church has been raising money for Dreams Come True for more than five years and has raised more than £500,000 for the cause.
