Bovis makes first time buying a realistic option

This Thursday 3rd July first time buyers in various locations are invited to attend an informative First Time Buyers Evening at various Bovis Homes’ developments. The event, which is to be held from 5pm to 8pm at various sites, is specifically tailored to help address the perceived barriers that can prevent first time buyers taking their initial steps on to the property ladder.
Birch Grove: Bolnore Village near Haywards Heath
Oak Tree Place: Hedge End
Quadriga: Colchester
Pegasus: Southend on Sea
Celandine Meadow: St Leonards nr Hastings
A wide range of services will be on offer at the event and visitors can take full advantage of access to independent financial advisors who will be on hand to give free impartial advice. In addition, Bovis Homes has compiled a special first time buyer package for the event; potential new homebuyers can take advantage of the Company’s ‘Jumpstart’ equity share scheme that could help securing a mortgage and a new home a more realistic option.
The scheme offers potential purchasers 100% ownership of a brand new Bovis Home, for just 75% of the asking price upfront. Customers can then buy the remaining 25% any time over the next ten years, or pay back the equity share when the house is sold. There is no rent to pay on the home whatsoever and only after five years is there a fixed 3% interest charge on the remaining share of the property that Bovis Homes still retains. (Terms and conditions apply.)
Tim Nabbs Sales and Marketing Director at Bovis Homes (South East) comments: “The evening will be an ideal opportunity for any first time buyers in the area who are not sure about what is available to them to come and find out. Too often customers are scared off by media reports and the truth of the matter is that there are still options out there for those buyers who want to get on the property ladder.”
