Miller Homes trio have success in their sites Three Miller Homes East Midlands site managers now have awards that highlight just how much pride they have in their jobs. For Vinnie Morris, Paul Williams and Gareth Clarke have all been chosen for a coveted Pride in the Job accolade from the National House-building Council (NHBC) as part of its campaign to reward the best site managers in the UK.

The trio are three of just 400 site managers to be given the award and will now go forward to the next level of the initiative, where they could be in line for a regional Seal of Excellence award.

Richard Hartshorn, regional director of the NHBC, commented: "To get three site managers in one region is a tremendous achievement for Miller Homes East Midlands and it is good news for Vinnie, who has previously been a Seal of Excellence winner too.

"The scheme, which has been going for almost 30 years, was set up to make sure that new home buyers can be assured that their properties are built to the highest standards. I know that site managers are really pleased when they win Pride in the Job awards as it means so much to them."

Vinnie Morris is the site manager at Dukes Mead, in Bingham. With a nearby nature trail opening up the beautiful Vale of Belvoir, the development benefits from being close to the countryside and yet near to Nottingham.

Meanwhile, Paul Williams is based at Cleves Place, Miller Homes' beautiful new Melton Mowbray development nestled between picturesque countryside and close to the River Eye.

Harrow Place, in the suburban and much sought-after setting of Knighton, Leicester, is where Gareth Clarke and his team are creating an exclusive development of just 20 homes.

Malcolm Ceney, production director at Miller Homes East Midlands, commented: "We are extremely proud of all our site managers and it is extremely pleasing that Vinnie, Paul and Gareth have won the quality awards.

"At Miller Homes, we are particularly proud of our developments and locations, and the high-quality build that our customers have come to expect from us. We also know that we need to build on our achievements and improve still further."

The judging process for the Pride in the Job awards takes place over the course of a year, with assessments including spot checks on the day-to day running of the sites and each site manager being assessed across 38 areas of site management, including their technical knowledge, consistency in the build process and the quality controls they have in place.
