Escape to the wild at Littleton Green

29th September 2008 Print
Escape to the wild at Littleton Green For the soon to be Mr and Mrs Hardeman, who are set to marry on Gretna Green next week, the idyllic Miller Homes development of Littleton Green in Huntington offered the perfect home in the perfect location. But like many would-be housebuyers, selling their home in today's market proved difficult.

Luckily for them, Miller Homes were able to offer their very successful part exchange scheme, allowing Mark Hardeman and his fiancé Sharon to get their ideal home without having to worry about the sale of their old property.

"After viewing the house we knew straight away that it was exactly what we wanted. The views of Cannock chase are amazing and its great to be able to wake up with that view and have the wild right on our doorstep.

"We also knew however that selling our current property would be something of an uphill struggle, so when we heard about the MHX scheme, we were sold!"

Under the ‘MHX' part exchange scheme, buyers have no need to suffer long chains or worry about putting their house on the open market - they just let Miller Homes do all of the hard work including arranging the two independent valuations.

Linda Androlia, sales director for Miller Homes, said; "The Littleton Green development really does offer a fantastic chance for anyone wanting to escape the rat race but stay close enough to friends and family.

"Being right on the edge of Cannock Chase, an escape to the wilderness is as much of a possibility as a short walk to the local shopping district, and because of our MHX scheme, homeowners can be spending a lot more time doing just those things"

The five bedroom ‘London' style home attracted the couple because of its spacious feel and luxurious features. The family size hallway is practical and welcoming, with the dual aspect lounge offering ample space to relax. The two upper floors offer the five generously sized bedrooms for Mark and Sharon's three children, with the master bedroom having the added luxury of an adjoined dressing room and en-suite.

The home also comes with a seal of approval from Mark's business partner Alan, who had previously moved onto the development and recommended that Mark and Sharon take a look.

"Moving to Huntington was no small feat for us" explains Sharon; "With both of us coming from Great Barr, its out of our comfort zone to say the least, but after Alan recommended that we take a look it just seemed like the right move to make."

Linda added; "As an extra advantage we are also extending our MiWay shared equity scheme to selected homes on the development, meaning that a brand new Miller Home is now even more affordable."

The MiWay scheme gives buyers the chance to pay 75% now and 25% later whilst allowing the buyer to own 100% of the property. The MiWay scheme is available on selected homes at the development.

Homes at Littleton Green are available from £184,950 for the four bedroom Atherstone townhouse, to £369,950 for the five bedroom Austen.
