Miller Homes duo seal sites with excellence

Vinnie Morris and Paul Williams joined 20 other site managers from the Eastern region in winning the coveted ‘Seal of Excellence' at the regional heat of the National House-building Council's (NHBC) annual Pride in the Job Awards, placing them amongst the top 100 site managers nationwide.
At a luncheon held at MK Dons Football Stadium in Milton Keynes, the prestigious awards were presented with a view to recognising and promoting the build of high quality new homes and site managment of an exceptional quality.
Malcolm Ceney, production director at Miller Homes East Midlands, commented: "At Miller Homes, we are committed to building homes of the highest calibre and pride ourselves on quality every step of the way - from the first brick to the final sale.
"We are extremely proud of both Vinnie and Paul, they are a great credit to Miller Homes and the construction industry as a whole."
Vinnie Morris, who was previously awarded a ‘Seal of Excellence' in 2006, is the site manager at Dukes Mead, in Bingham. With a nearby nature trail opening up the beautiful Vale of Belvoir, the development benefits from being close to the countryside and yet near to Nottingham.
Meanwhile, Paul Williams is based at Cleves Place, Miller Homes' beautiful new Melton Mowbray development nestled between picturesque countryside and close to the River Eye.
Richard Hartshorn, NHBC's director for the East region, said: "To win a ‘Seal of Excellence' takes an exceptional level of commitment and hard work. Each of the winners is a tribute to the new homes industry and a testament to the standards that can be achieved."
The judging process for the Pride in the Job awards takes place over the course of a year, with assessments including spot checks on the day-to day running of the sites and each site manager being assessed across 38 areas of site management, including their technical knowledge, consistency in the build process and the quality controls they have in place.
