Barratt plays Santa with festive deals

Barratt is playing Santa Claus with some fantastic festive deals for buyers who'd like to be in their new home in time for Christmas. If you're a first-time buyer or don't have a place to sell, you could buy a new 2-bedroom house for as little as £82,500, and move in for just £99.

For move up buyers with a home to sell, you could take advantage of the housebuilder's famous part exchange service, plus special prices and £5,000 cashback.

And for all buyers Barratt will pay stamp duty, legal fees and moving costs, and include fitted carpets and a fridge/freezer.

The deals are available on a wide range of new homes across Teesside, but only for sales completed before Christmas.

Steve Mariner, Barratt North East sales manager, said: "With our Dream Start offer for first-time buyers, you pay only 75 per cent of the purchase price now - and take advantage of an interest-free loan on the other 25 per cent for up to ten years.

"This can make a dramatic difference to the move in price of a new home, and means that you don't even have to pay the usual 5 or 10 per cent deposit.

"And paying only a 75 per cent mortgage also makes buying very affordable. It isn't shared ownership - it's your home, and you own 100 per cent of it from day one."

The deal means that a stylish "Washington" home at Hardwick Green, Stockton, for example, is priced at just £82,500, down from £110,000.

The part exchange service enables move-up buyers to move quickly without the hassle of a chain and stay in their old place until your new home is ready. There are no estate agent fees to pay or last-minute price haggling.
