Get more than a handshake from George Wimpey

5th January 2009 Print
Get more than a handshake from George Wimpey Buyers to George Wimpey's developments throughout the east of Scotland will get more than a New Year hand-shake, as the company has extended its' generous offer to pay the ‘Home Report' costs on a customers' existing property if they buy a new George Wimpey home by 31 January 2009.

This extra-special New Year bonus is in addition to the support already available to customers taking advantage of George Wimpey's Easymover, or part-exchange schemes that are both currently available on selected plots at developments throughout the region.

Easymover offers customers who reserve a new home a whole host of benefits that are specifically tailored to remove all the worry and stress of selling a property. And George Wimpey will pay all your estate agency fees as well as legal fees up to £500, and offers access to free independent financial advice. Whilst George Wimpey's part-exchange scheme allows customers the opportunity to trade their current property towards the cost for a new home that's currently available.

With this generous package of measures in place, customers will be confident to take the first steps of a fresh start in a new home in 2009, and this incentive is expected to be popular as Karen Armstrong, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey East Scotland adds: "Quite often people are jaded from the Christmas and New Year festivities, so this year we wanted to kick things off in January with a generous offer that will give customers some reassurance that moving into a new home is a great option for them.

"With our Easymover or part-exchange schemes, George Wimpey takes away all the stress and worry of having to sell a current property - which is a great relief to many potential buyers in the challenging property market conditions that we're experiencing at the moment.

"For customers with time to plan their move Easymover gives a longer lead-time, whilst for buyers keen to snap up one of the homes that are all ready to move into, then part-exchange will offer the quickest and most stress-free path to their new home.

"And although buyers of new-build homes do not require a home report, many of our customers will have current properties to sell, so we're keen to alleviate the additional costs they'll be facing to provide a Home Report in order to put that property on the market.

"Since we launched our offer to pay the costs of providing a Home Report in December, it's been of benefit to a number of buyers, so we've extended this offer for a further month until the end of January 2009 to give customers even more of a helping hand to get on the move in the New Year!

"As well as this superb range of tailored incentives, we remain fully committed to getting our customers into their new George Wimpey home as quickly and as stress-free as possible. We've also appraised our current property prices and there are some amazing deals available at all our developments throughout the region. For details, locations and opening times visit georgewimpey.co.uk, or pop into one of our developments - you'll be impressed by how much we can help."
